Full program registration (10 days) includes:

  • Full package of five days in one of the 10 localities of the field trips (food, accommodation, transportation to/from the local venues); one dinner is excluded
  • Welcome drink, coffee breaks and lunches in the plenary sessions (Venice and Padua)
  • Translation service Italian-English during the plenary
  • Folder conventioneers and certificate of participation
  • A hard-copy of the conference proceedings
  • Opportunity to show, exchange and sell own products (final exhibition market)

Dinners and accommodations in Venice and Padua (6-7 and 12 to 14 October) are not included in the registration fee.

Final Plenary Session registration (3 days) includes:

  • Welcome drink, coffee breaks and lunches in the plenary session (Padua)
  • Translation service Italian-English
  • Folder conventioneers and certificate of participation
  • A hard-copy of the conference proceedings
  • Opportunity to show, exchange and sell own products (final exhibition market)

Dinners and accommodations in Padua (from 12 to 14 October) are not included in the registration fee.

Call for Participation

Call for papers

Scholars and researchers coming from all disciplines, as well as experts in terraced landscapes, are invited to present a paper, choosing one of the 10 thematic sessions linked to the different local sites of the Conference, by sending the attached form to info@terracedlandscapes2016.it within July 25th, 2016. It must include an abstract of up to 3000 characters / 500 words in one of the official languages of the conference (English or Italian).

To apply for participation, please firstly sign up for the conference (full program) and, therefore, enter the identification number sent in the confirmation e-mail.
All participants are invited to send the final paper until 31st December 2016 (instructions for the publications will be communicated during the Congress). The best abstracts will be selected and candidate, by the Scientific Board, for an ISI peer-reviewed special issue on “Terraced landscapes” (by August 30th will be notified the accepted abstracts and the instructions for the standards publication).
Accepted papers should be necessarily written in English, and sent within December 31st, 2016.

Call for videos

Filmmakers, documentary-makers, and non-professional videomakers or freelancers, who wish to attend the contest “Terraced Landscapes: Past Future”, hosted in Topolò-Dordolla from 8th to 12th October 2016, and who wish to attend the local field-works, are invited to register (full program) filling the dedicated application form.

People who wish to present their videos for the contest without attending the proceedings of the Meeting, shall be exempted from paying the registration fee and they can submit their works by July 25th 2016 following the instructions provided in the attached file.

Call for experiences

People who have something to present or to show about terraced landscapes (posters, projects, initiatives, books, craft and artistic skills, products worthy to be made known or tasted, exchange of experiences or calls for cooperation, crowdfunding, places to enhance and to promote, etc.) are asked to fill the application form (optionally with the full program or the final plenary session only) within July 25th 2016.

In the plenary session of Padua, a special area (Agora) will be set up for a Dare-to share-fair (Friday, October 14th and Saturday, October 15th). Such common space is oriented to know people, share and exchange projects, activities, and experiences for the future of terraced landscapes.

Local farmers involved in the 10 fieldsites of the conference are not required to pay the registration fee. Their participation will be communicated directly by the local representative.
